Switch Between Users with One Email Address
If you have different user roles in the same company, say, as both a payroll administrator and an employee, you don't need separate email addresses. The system links multiple user roles to your single email address.
Switching user roles¶
- Click the Profile icon ( ) > select User Profile.
- Under Switch Active User, click on the user role you want, and the system will take you there.
The website remembers your last session, so when you log back in, it returns you to whichever user role you were using.
No Switch Active User heading?
If you are on the User Profile screen, but you don't see the Switch Active User heading, that means you only have one user role associated with your email address.
If you should have multiple user roles, check whether your administrator used the correct email address when they added them.
Red warning icon
Under the Switch Active User heading, a warning icon next to a user role means that 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) is mandatory for that role, but hasn’t been set up yet. More information on 2FA, as well as how to make it mandatory, is available here:
